"Go!" was the perfect track to kick off the performance. There was no drawn-out intro; it was immediately go-time right out of the gate. The lighting alone was an absolute masterclass. The vibrant blues and greens breathed incredible life into an already electrifying set. Between the strobes shooting across the stage and the dynamic soft lighting, the duo known as Dance with the Dead had the entire crowd feeling very much alive. The instrumentals were simply phenomenal.
On top of their expert musicianship, the sound control and mixing were flawless. It never felt rushed or overly loud; every sound on stage blended perfectly to create a beautiful culmination of music. Frontman Tony Kim absolutely destroyed it. He would step to the center of the stage radiating immense energy, moving sporadically, yet still managing to play beautiful lines with expert precision. Let’s not forget Justin Pointer, who was cooking so aggressively on the synth and bass that his presence commanded attention. The way these two blended synthwave and heavy metal was awe-inspiring. Experiencing this show felt like being part of an intense heist in Cyberpunk 2077. Without a doubt, Johnny Silverhand would easily stand for this band.
