The bands’ signature pink and purple hues lit the stage as they made their entrance. The room was full of excitement along with the unmatched high energy that Honey Revenge brings. Their upbeat electric pop-rock vibe carried by Donny on guitar matched with the melodic vocals and honest lyrics by Devin create a unique experience that draws in listeners. As Devin jumps and dances with bandmates on stage, the crowd is incredibly engaged. They hop right along with her, singing every word
Honey Revenge stays loyal with the idobi Summer School Tour in their third (or junior) year. The band worked their way up from opening during the tours’ freshman year to now headlining the mini festival. The tour was designed to highlight up-and-coming artists and local acts, bringing together a community of music lovers across genres. The room at Bogart’s felt like seeing a small gig at a bar - each band having their dedicated fans while respecting, enjoying, and actually engaging with all sets.
The bee band opened with one of their recent singles “Run Your Mouth” off their upcoming second album “Loving and Losing”. The setlist was pretty split between their first album “Retrovision” and singles from the new one. Devin asked the crowd to pretend they’re in a club as she introduced an unreleased song titled “Sunday Scaries”. Between the groovy guitar riffs, catchy lyrics, and danceable beat; the crowd easily complied. Overall, Honey Revenge brought an absolutely electric presence to the stage with their music and personalities, drawing in fans and casual enjoyers alike.
