Little Miss Nasty brought far more than just a performance to Chapel of Bones in Raleigh. Combining sharp choreography, burlesque, and an unapologetically provocative stage presence, they turned the night into an experience that was impossible to ignore.
The dancing was on point, with every movement carrying an intensity that matched the music. The burlesque elements added another layer to the performance, especially during Nine Inch Nails’ “Closer,” which felt like the perfect soundtrack for the night’s dark, seductive atmosphere.
But what really made the show stand out was how much the performers committed to the moment. Between the hair whipping, the attitude, and the fearless energy, there was never a dull second. One moment in particular involved a dancer pouring water over herself before whipping her hair around so aggressively that I ended up getting splashed right in the face. Definitely not something you see at every show.
And then there was the audience interaction. The performers weren't content to stay onstage and let everyone watch from a distance. They reached out, grabbed audience members, and stared directly into their eyes, making the experience feel intensely personal. It was the kind of interaction that made you feel like you were part of the performance whether you were ready for it or not.
Little Miss Nasty understands that a great show is about more than just dancing. It's about presence, confidence, unpredictability, and knowing exactly how to command a room. Between the choreography, burlesque, and unapologetic in-your-face energy, they delivered a performance that was as theatrical as it was entertaining.
