Metallica aren't slowing down just yet. The band has announced 12 additional North American dates for its ongoing M72 World Tour, extending the stadium run into the summer of 2027. The newly announced shows begin May 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wrap up June 19 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The M72 tour has become known for its distinctive in-the-round stage, positioned at the center of the stadium floor rather than at one end. With the Snake Pit placed in the middle of the stage, fans have a 360-degree view of the performance, putting the band at the center of the entire stadium experience.
For the 2027 dates, Metallica will once again bring Limp Bizkit and Avatar along as supporting acts, reuniting the lineup for another stretch of stadium shows

Beyond the music, Metallica are continuing their commitment to giving back to the communities that welcome them. Through their nonprofit foundation, All Within My Hands, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will support local charities and organizations.
Established in 2017, the foundation focuses on workforce education, fighting hunger and providing essential community services. What makes the initiative particularly meaningful is that Metallica covers all administrative costs, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to the organizations receiving support.
Since its founding, All Within My Hands has provided $19 million to career and technical education through the Metallica Scholars Initiative, $8.8 million toward fighting food insecurity and $6.2 million for disaster relief and other critical services worldwide. It's another way the band is making an impact beyond the stage, turning their success into meaningful support for communities around the world.
