New Constellations, consisting of two life long friends and musicians Harlee Case and Josh Smith, is the enchanting result of years of dedication to the art. This dynamic duo opened the stage before The Midnight, captivating the crowd with their fun energy and uplifting vibes. Harlee’s stunning vocals and gorgeous smile paired with the obvious passion and enjoyment in their music make for quite an entertaining show.
Before playing “Believe Again” Harlee talks about her journey with the band and the rough road to chasing your dreams, leaving you with encouragement to follow what you’re drawn to regardless of the path that leads you there. Harlee had to give up on her early dreams of being a musician and New Constellations was the creation that brought her and Josh back as a team full of talent and drive. You can feel the joy flowing from the stage as they perform to the packed room.
The crowd, cast in cool tones from the lights, stands swaying and smiling as they play. “Hot Blooded” was a very fun song and picked up the pace a little. It was received well by the fans, especially since Harlee came closer to the edge of the stage to interact with those in the front. This duo is as charming and genuine as they get.
