The Spring Horizons tour hit the stage of Nevermore Hall this past weekend, bringing immense performances to the sold out room. Each band brought in a new wave of energy, the crowd getting rowdier and rowdier as the night went on. The show started off with Heavensgate, a modern metalcore band from Melbourne, Australia. They came out to start out the night with a great set performing songs like RATKING and A FAWN FLAYED, getting the crowd riled up for the rest of the night.
“Seeing these bands for years and it is still so exciting to see them in Baltimore more than anywhere else.” A fan attending the show said.
Following Heavensgate was the band Boundaries. Coming from Connecticut, the metalcore five piece brought a brutal set with harsh vocals and an even harsher mosh pit. Their energy was intense and the fans were loving every moment. Playing songs like Darkness Shared and Easily Erased their setlist did not disappoint. They ended their set bringing out Grimace and Santa Claus to throw candy into the crowd, bringing in an extra wave of fun.
Once Boundaries finished it was time for August Burns Red to take the stage. Coming in from right up the road in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, they knew exactly how to bring the heat. From the vocals to the instrumentals, the lighting, the setlist and the stage performance, the band knows exactly how to put on an incredible show and the fans loved every moment of it, the energy was high, the pit was open and the fans were singing along the whole performance.
The final band to take the stage on this stacked lineup was The Amity Affliction, a massive metalcore band hailing from Queensland, Australia. From the crowdsurfers to the mosh pit, the barricade to the balconies the entire room was buzzing with excitement when The Amity Affliction hit the stage to finish out the already high energy night. “I was most excited to see The Amity Affliction. Their music saved my life. Getting to crowdsurf to them was a dream come true.” A fan on barricade said. The band came in with immense energy and powerful vocals bringing the night to an epic close, ending the show with a fan favorite called Soak Me In Bleach. Fans left the show with big smiles, buzzing with happiness from the amazing show they had just experienced.
