Underøath kicked off their Van Tour to Vans Warped Tour this summer with supports from Held and Initiate. The goal of this tour was to take a step back and revisit the beginnings, entering the intimate and rooted venues where they can be face to face with fans and interact just as they did in their earlier days. There was mention of how when the idea came to play, they were advised on several accounts to not proceed with such tour, but they were persistent in wanting to be in those very rooms with fans despite what others thought.
Stopping in Greensboro, North Carolina the Van Tour made a much awaited stop at Hangar 1819. Tickets went live and sold out in well under 24 hours. Fans of various stages of Underøath's story gathered in hopes to gain a ticket to the stop. Later on after the sell out, another stop was added as a service to fans in Greenville SC at Radio Room.

First up was Initiate and then Held. The grand finale Underøath. Spencer told us he grew up and went to school in Greensboro, NC and that seeing the venue packed made him proud to be in his hometown. Hoping for another return just like this one. No barricades stood between the fans and Underøath. Energy coursed between as the well known titles powered through the venue. Crowd surfing surged, pits opened and the stage was continuously being worked by the guys as they fed the crowd the same energy they gave them. Songs such as Writing On The Walls, from Define The Great Line took us back to 2006. The members celebrated 20 years of it's release and further announced the 20th Anniversary Tour 2026. They will be returning to North Carolina in Raleigh on December 11th 2026. Make sure to tune in and make it out for an absolutely killer lineup later this year!
A takeaway from the night, the wholesome interactions between all bands and fans were evident. Seeing Underøath stage side to watch both supports prior to their own set was not only a fan treat but also a love as a music supporter seeing the touring package come together as a whole during the night.
